  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and add milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients; gently fold until just mixed (lumps are fine).
  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve warm with maple syrup or fresh fruit.
