  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 8 oz spaghetti or penne pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
