  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. For the cinnamon swirl, mix additional sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top, then repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon mixture.
  8. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
