  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, granulated sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in flour and melted butter until a soft dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (1/4 inch thick). Spread softened butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  5. Roll tightly and cut into heart shapes using kitchen scissors or a knife.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with one tablespoon of milk.
