Description

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare a pot with water and bring it to a simmer. Place a steamer basket over the pot.
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken in the steamer basket in a single layer. Cover and steam for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Once done, sprinkle sliced green onions on top before serving.
