  • 1 package puff pastry sheets (2 sheets)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree (100% pure)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into rectangles (4 inches wide).
  4. Spoon pumpkin filling onto half of each rectangle, fold over, and seal edges by pressing firmly. Twist gently for presentation.
  5. Brush each twist with egg wash and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
