Description

Strawberry sorbet is the ultimate summer treat, bursting with fresh strawberry flavor and a refreshing chill. Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe strawberries (hulled and halved)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash strawberries under cool water, remove stems, and slice in half.
  2. Blend strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Add water and blend again until well combined.
  4. Chill the mixture in the freezer for about 2 hours until cold but not frozen.
  5. Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until soft-serve texture is reached. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour into a shallow dish and stir every 30 minutes until fully frozen.
  6. Serve in bowls or cones, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.
