  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the broccoli by washing and cutting it into bite-sized florets.
  2. Blanch the florets in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then drain and cool in cold water.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Stir in soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes; coat broccoli in the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and stir until melted (about 1 minute).
