  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup pastel frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate eggs (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until fully combined.
  3. Whisk in the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until glossy.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Allow cooling completely before frosting. Spread pastel frosting on top and decorate with mini chocolate eggs.
