Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until fully combined.
- Whisk in the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until glossy.
- In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow cooling completely before frosting. Spread pastel frosting on top and decorate with mini chocolate eggs.
