Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for whipped cream)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the whole milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined; do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and remaining whole milk.
  7. Once cooled, poke holes in the cake with a fork and pour the milk mixture over it. Refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
  8. Whip the heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form and spread it over the chilled cake. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
