  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Orecchiette in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, about 9-11 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and crumble in the sausage. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute before adding broccoli florets. Cook until bright green and tender.
  4. Combine the drained Orecchiette with the sausage and broccoli mixture in the skillet. Toss together, adding reserved pasta water gradually to create a sauce-like consistency.
